The GRO. Girls Team

Fynley Bouck - Social Media and Website Coordinator
As a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, my role includes sharing stories, creating content, and engaging with audiences to help spread awareness of our goals. I enjoy designing campaigns, writing, and finding creative ways to connect people to our work. My favorite part of GRO is seeing how digital storytelling can inspire others to get involved and make an impact. Outside of my role at GRO, I enjoy cooking, music, theater, and getting involved with other service organizations.

Melanie Pellegrino - Social Media and Website Coordinator
Posting frequent updates on social media, making website changes, and using creativity when connecting with our viewers are many of the practices that I get to do as a Social Media and Website Coordinator. Working closely with Fynley, we get to come up with fun and innovative ways to improve certain aspects of GRO! In my free time I contribute to a separate non profit, play tennis and workout, travel, and spend time with my friends.

Charlotte Bullard - Engagement Manager
As an Engagement Manager, my role involves reaching out to potential businesses, churches, and schools that may be interested in learning more about our mission. I enjoy creating presentations, public speaking, and following up with potential donors. It was humbling to personally travel to Malawi in June of 2024 to inspect our wells and meet the learners and villagers who benefit from access to clean water. My favorite part of GRO is seeing videos of borehole construction and the response from the joy-filled community. In addition to serving others, my free time is filled with family, friends, tennis, and music.

Grace Villwock - Engagement Manager
Outreach, awareness, and activism are all practices I enjoy within my role as an engagement manager. Working in coordination with Charlotte, I draft oral and visual presentations, contact potential and previous donors, and collaborate with not only those on my team of GRO. girls, but also representatives from various organizations. One of my favorite parts about GRO is being able to tell our story and encourage others to do the same. When I’m not working on GRO., I enjoy working as a CNA and barista, playing tennis and going to workout classes, and spending time with friends and family.

Sophia Kwacz - Treasurer
As the treasurer of GRO., I oversee financial operations. Additionally, I work closely with my team members to enhance networking opportunities and ensure donors receive transparent, timely updates on how their contributions are utilized. In the summer of 2025, I had the privilege of visiting GRO. wells in Malawi, where I witnessed firsthand the meaningful impact of our work on local children and teachers. Outside of my role in GRO., I pursue interests such as running with my cross-country team, working as a CNA and busser/host, engaging in DIY projects, traveling, studying medicine, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Abbey Janssen - Secretary
Organization, assigning productivity goals, and taking notes during meetings make up my routine as a secretary. My role focuses on noting and distributing tasks out to the rest of the group. I take part in drafting presentations and following up with potential donors and businesses. Working as a group of young girls is inspiring and my favorite part of GRO is seeing heartwarming and grateful videos from the learners after the installation of a borehole. Beyond my role at GRO, I enjoy swimming, soccer, being active in other volunteer opportunities, and spending time with friends and family.
